Abstract

The paper examines the use of big visual data in the context of digital infrastructure planning. It reconstructs the perspectives of professional planners whose work is based on the digital planning method Building Information Modelling (BIM). Against the background of communicative constructivism the concept synthetic object is developed that reflects the changeability of planning models and the processuality of visual mass data as a relational interplay of socio-technical interfaces.
